These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to your use of the SubSorted mobile application and the SubSorted website.
By using SubSorted, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app or the website.
About SubSorted
SubSorted is a privacy-first subscription management app designed to help you track and organise recurring subscriptions. SubSorted is operated from the United Kingdom.

What SubSorted does
SubSorted helps you:
- record subscriptions you choose to add
- view renewal dates and totals
- receive reminders on your device
- organise subscriptions into profiles
- create draft entries using tools such as receipt scanning or voice input
- access cancellation guidance and templates
SubSorted does not:
- connect to your bank
- access your financial accounts
- access your email inbox
- take actions on your behalf
You stay in control
SubSorted only saves subscriptions when you explicitly confirm them. Features such as receipt scanning and voice input create drafts for your review. Nothing is added automatically without your approval.
Important limitation – reminders and cancellations
SubSorted provides reminders and organisational tools only. You remain responsible for:
- checking your subscriptions
- cancelling services
- contacting subscription providers
While SubSorted is designed to be reliable, reminders depend on your device and operating system. Notifications may be delayed, blocked, or disabled by system settings, battery optimisation, or other factors outside our control.
SubSorted is not responsible for missed renewals, charges, or cancellations.
Cancellation guidance
SubSorted may provide cancellation instructions or email templates. These are provided for convenience only. We do not:
- send cancellation requests for you
- act on your behalf
- guarantee that a provider will accept a cancellation
Free and Premium features
SubSorted offers a free version and an optional paid Premium version. Free features include essential tracking and reminder functionality. Premium features add clarity, convenience and additional tools. Safety-related features are not intentionally restricted behind payment.
We may change, add or remove features in either plan at any time.
Payments and subscriptions
Premium purchases are processed by your app store provider. Payment handling, refunds and subscription management are governed by the terms and policies of the app store you used to make your purchase. We do not handle your payment details directly.
Lifetime purchases
If a lifetime purchase option is offered, it provides access to Premium features for the lifetime of the SubSorted app as it exists at the time of purchase. It does not guarantee:
- unlimited future features
- continued availability of specific features
- availability of the app indefinitely
Changes to pricing or plans
We may introduce new plans, change pricing, or modify existing plans in the future. Changes will not affect completed purchases, but may apply to future subscriptions or renewals in line with app store rules.
Your data
SubSorted stores your subscription data locally on your device. You are responsible for:
- keeping your device secure
- backing up your device if you wish to preserve your data
If you delete the app or your device data, your subscriptions may be lost. For details about how data is handled, please see our Privacy Policy.
Optional backup features
If SubSorted offers optional backup or export features, their use is entirely at your discretion. You are responsible for:
- managing your backups
- storing exported files securely
Acceptable use
You agree not to use SubSorted:
- in a way that is unlawful
- to interfere with or disrupt the app or website
- to attempt to reverse engineer, copy or misuse the service or its content
Intellectual property
All content, design, software and branding in SubSorted and on the website are owned by or licensed to SubSorted. You may not copy, distribute or modify any part of the app or website without permission.
Availability
We aim to keep SubSorted available and working, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may suspend, update or discontinue the app or any part of it at any time.
No financial advice
SubSorted does not provide financial, legal or professional advice. The information shown in the app is for general organisational and informational purposes only.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by UK law, SubSorted is not liable for:
- missed renewals or trial conversions
- financial loss arising from subscriptions or charges
- inaccurate or incomplete information provided by third-party services
- loss of data stored on your device
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it cannot be limited under applicable law.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Your continued use of SubSorted after changes are published means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
